OK. Here is the idea.
The first condition is - your birthday needs to be sometime soon.
If this condition is met do the following:
1. prepare two birthday parties:
- a. Familiy birthday party
- b. Friends birthday party
3. Get a "Collecting Donations for Nikon D3 Camera" t shirt. (there is one available at Cafepress)
4. Wear it at the party (both of them)
5. Mingle.
Now, about mingling, make sure you cover the following topics:
- say that one day you will make a book about your photo career and in that book you will honorably mention your parents who helped you a lot but you will also mention everyone else who helped you in your beginnings
- turn the subject to history of arts and mention the famous Italian family Medici and how even today, 500 years later, everyone still admires and remembers them because they were sponsoring Michelangelo Buonarroti and Leonardo da Vinci back in those days.
- make sure to mention how money never meant anything to you, it was always just a tool to accomplish bigger and better things in life
- also add how giving is a much more rewarding experience than taking
